General Terms and Conditions:
Stand: 03.02.2023
Registration
The general conditions are an integral part of the contract between the participant and Centro Hipico Zahora. Registration can only be made in writing. For minors, the consent of the legal guardian is required. By booking, the customer acknowledges the present terms and conditions. The mutual rights and obligations of the parties are governed exclusively by these terms and conditions. Upon acceptance by the organizer, the travel participant receives a written confirmation of the performance agreements. For all arranged arrangements, the terms and conditions of Centro Hipico Zahora apply.
Finance
Upon receipt of the booking confirmation, a deposit of 20% of the travel price is due, payable in accordance with the instructions in the booking confirmation. The receipt of payment will be confirmed in writing by Centro Hipico Zahora to the participant. The remaining amount will be paid on site against a corresponding payment receipt.
Services
Based on the descriptions on the Internet on the website Centro-Hípico – Zahora. com, the scope of services is determined. Additional agreements require written form.
Cancellation/No-show by the participant
Before the start of the trip, a cancellation of the contract is possible at any time. Cancellation must be made in writing. The following flat rates of the total price must be paid for the services and expenses provided in advance, as well as for the reservation of seats:
Starting from the 70th day before the travel date 20% of the travel package, unless a change to another program is made within 6 months.
For cancellations of special dates or group bookings, 20% of the total travel price will be charged.
In the case of no-show or cancellation on the day of arrival 100%. The withdrawing participant may appoint a substitute, provided that this person meets the special requirements of the booked event; no cancellation fees will be charged.
If a change of date or program is made, Centro Hipico Zahora will refund the deposit paid for the new booking within 6 months.
In the event of cancellation of the trip, there is no entitlement to a refund. We strongly recommend taking out a travel cancellation insurance (to be taken out with your insurance company).
Withdrawal by the organizer
For important organizational and personnel reasons, Centro Hipico Zahora may cancel or interrupt an event at any time. In this case, the participant is entitled to all services not provided, less the cancellation costs. Any further claims are excluded.
If a participant is unable to meet the requirements of the trip or another event due to an incorrect assessment of their ability or health, the organizer may terminate the contract without notice. If the participant fails to meet their payment obligations in a timely manner or, despite a warning, continues to seriously disrupt the implementation of the trip, the organizer may, without entitlement to compensation, exclude the participant from the trip at any time. The participant is responsible for the return journey themselves. The organizer reserves the right to claim the travel price.
If the program cannot take place due to force majeure or weather conditions, the customer is not entitled to a refund. In this case, Centro Hipico Zahora will make every effort to provide a replacement.
Liability and disclaimer of the organizer
It is expressly pointed out that horseback riding involves an increased risk. Participation in all activities is at your own risk. Centro Hipico Zahora accepts no liability for injuries and accidents or for damage to property. It is expressly up to the participant to take out insurance against all risks. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance for luggage (theft, damage, etc.), accident, illness, rescue/return, and liability. When traveling abroad, we also recommend travel assistance/accident insurance. Especially due to weather influences and the personal fitness of the participants, the organizer cannot guarantee that the trip can be carried out exactly according to the program. For the planning of the routes, the tours were developed in accordance with the current road traffic regulations. The organizer cannot be held liable for any subsequent changes. For the services of third parties (e.g., hotels, etc.), Centro Hipico Zahora acts only as an intermediary and cannot accept any liability for their quality or compliance with the agreed services. If tours have to be cancelled due to weather conditions, there is no right to compensation. Centro Hipico Zahora offers, where possible, a replacement program.
Travel formalities / Health
The traveler is responsible for their own arrival/departure and compliance with passport and visa requirements, as well as for the required vaccinations. Any expenses and disadvantages resulting from non-compliance are at the participant’s expense. The participant confirms with their registration that they are in good health and have no concerns regarding participation in the activities.
General information
Complaints must be reported immediately on site so that the person responsible can take action to rectify the problem. Any claims for replacement must be made in writing within 30 days of the return date. Any changes to program services and prices, as well as the reporting of errors and printing errors, are expressly reserved. The participant undertakes to behave in a collegial manner towards the group and accepts decisions made democratically. The organizer may, in the interests of the group or if the feasibility of the trip is compromised, exclude a participant.
