«Centro Hípico Zahora» is a long-established equestrian center located in a breathtaking landscape in the south of Spain on the Atlantic coast.
From our finca, we reach the beach in front of the famous Cape Trafalgar in just 10 minutes by horseback through the pine forest and through beautiful dune landscapes.
Long kilometers of sandy beaches between the pristine «Playa Mangueta» and Cape Trafalgar invite you to take long walks along the beach. A dream for every equestrian heart!

Zahora Equestrian Center – who is this really?
My name is Simone, I have been running this company with passion for many years. I am an enthusiastic rider and animal lover. I am lucky to live in this wonderful place in breathtaking scenery in southern Spain. Thanks to the support of my team, I am able to inspire many riders. Beginners learn to ride here with fun and empathy. Experienced riders can enjoy long gallops in the pine forest or on the beach. Our horseback riding holiday will be a wonderful experience for you.

Our philosophy
We value fair treatment of animals!
The horses live freely in a large finca in the herd. Thanks to their natural way of life, they are very balanced, sure-footed, and absolutely reliable partners for the rider. Many of our horses we have raised ourselves with love.
The finca has many bushes, trees and a small pine forest. There the horses find many shady places in the summer, and in the winter they have protection from wind and rain.
Saddle and harness
Our horses are ridden exclusively with bare teeth, by Hackemore, and with the very comfortable Spanish «Vaquero» saddle.
Our riders and their holiday horse
Our guests are given the opportunity to choose a horse that is adapted to their level of experience. This horse will be their faithful companion throughout their riding holiday. Only upon their own request will they be assigned another horse. We want you to enjoy your riding holiday with your four-legged friend and to feel completely comfortable and safe.
